Understanding spiritual warfare and our weapons
As Cruz-aders in the Blood Covered Community, we're not just believers - we're warriors. This week we're diving deep into the armor of God and what it means to be battle-ready.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." - Ephesians 6:10-11
1. **Belt of Truth** (v.14)
- Truth is the foundation of everything
- Jesus said "I am the truth"
- Without truth, all other armor falls apart
- Discussion: How do we wear truth daily?
2. **Breastplate of Righteousness** (v.14)
- Protects your heart and vital organs
- Right living, right standing with God
- Not our righteousness, but Christ's
- Discussion: What attacks come at your heart?
3. **Shoes of Peace** (v.15)
- Ready to move and stand firm
- Peace with God, peace of God
- Gospel of peace - sharing good news
- Discussion: Are we ready to move when God calls?
4. **Shield of Faith** (v.16)
- Extinguishes all flaming arrows
- Active defense, not passive
- Faith in God's promises and character
- Discussion: What arrows are coming at you?
5. **Helmet of Salvation** (v.17)
- Protects your mind and thoughts
- Assurance of salvation
- Identity in Christ
- Discussion: How do we guard our minds?
6. **Sword of the Spirit** (v.17)
- Only offensive weapon
- The Word of God
- Jesus used it against Satan
- Discussion: How sharp is your sword?
Putting on armor isn't a one-time thing. It's daily. It's intentional. Every Cruz-ader needs to start their day by suiting up in prayer and the Word.

2. How can you strengthen your weak areas?
3. What specific battles are you facing this week?
4. How can the community support you in warfare?
Every morning this week, pray through each piece of armor and put it on. Journal about what you learn.
